150 tires slashed overnight in North Vancouver
RCMP ask for public's help to identify suspects
The RCMP are investigating a tire slashing spree in North Vancouver.
More than 150 tires were slashed overnight in the Capilano University area down to Park and Tilford according to police.
Tire stores in North Vancouver have been overwhelmed with demand for replacements and tow truck drivers have been called in from as far as Squamish, B.C..
North Vancouver RCMP say they continue to receive complaints and are advising motorists to check their tires before setting out. They are also asking for the public's help in identifying suspects.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious overnight, or who has had their own tires slashed is asked to contact the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or Crime Stoppers online.
