As the NBA finals between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors gear up for the Game 1 kick-off on Thursday at the Scotiabank Arena, the debates have continued over Drake's courtside antics. Some have called Drake's animated gestures, including a viral moment where he massaged Raptors head coach Nick Nurse during Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks, "disrespectful," while others have come to his defence

Now, San Jose, Calif., band Smash Mouth is adding its two cents on the matter.

The '90s act, best known for the hit songs "All Star" and "Walkin' on the Sun," took to Twitter yesterday to give the Toronto rapper a warning: "Yo @drake When the ball is in-play sit the FCK down! That ain't gonna fly in Oakland!" The band finished off its message by using a hashtag to call Drake a "glorified mascot."

While some Raptors fans took offence to the tweet, the band assured everyone that its ire is only aimed at Drake as Smash Mouth replied to a comment later, adding that "two of our bandmates are from Canada. We good!"

This isn't the first time Drake has been involved in a musical feud. Last year, Drake and American rapper Pusha-T exchanged diss tracks, which led to the latter accusing the former for "hiding a child." Prior to that, Drake has also engaged in beefs with Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Common and Tyga.
