Sarah McLachlan announces 30th anniversary tour of Fumbling Towards Ecstasy
Feist and Allison Russell will join the singer on the North American tour, which includes 2 Canadian dates
In 1993, Sarah McLachlan released her third studio album, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, solidifying her voice in the Canadian canon and landing her on the U.S. charts for the first time — and 30 years later she's celebrating the beloved record with a North American anniversary tour.
Kicking off in May 2024 in Seattle and wrapping up in Sugar Land, Texas, in July, McLachlan's newly announced tour will include two Canadian dates: June 19 in Toronto, and June 20 in Laval, Que., with Grammy nominee Allison Russell as the special guest on the Toronto show, and recent Polaris shortlister Feist as the special guest for the Quebec date.
"I think it's interesting as an artist or as a human for that matter, to be able to go back and look at a postcard of a time in your life and reflect on it," McLachlan said in a statement. "I think this tour is going to be a real walk down memory lane for me, and I'm hoping that my audience, many of whom have been with me for 30 years, will also be able to go back in time with me."
Tickets for the full tour will go on sale Friday, Dec.15, with pre-sales starting Dec. 12. Find the full list of tour dates below.
