Robbie Robertson is about to have a busy few months.

Ahead of the release of Daniel Roher's documentary on the Canadian musician, titled Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band, Robertson is announcing his sixth studio album, Sinematic

Sinematic will be his first album since 2016's Testimony, which was a companion album to his memoir of the same name. According to a press release, his upcoming release was inspired by the music he composed for director Martin Scorsese's highly anticipated Netflix film, The Irishman

The album's first single, "I Hear You Paint Houses," featuring Robertson's friend Van Morrison, is out now. You can hear the track below.

This week it was announced that Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band will be opening the 44th annual Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 5 at Roy Thomson Hall. The film will look at the life and work of Robertson and the Band. It is executive produced by Scorsese, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.
