Neil Young announces love earth world tour with the Chrome Hearts
The tour includes stops in Toronto and British Columbia

Neil Young and his band, the Chrome Hearts, will hit the road later this year for the love earth tour. Beginning in Sweden in June, Young will perform in Europe — including a set at Glastonbury — before playing shows in Canada and the U.S. in the fall.
So far, Canadian dates have been announced for Burnaby, B.C. and Toronto in addition to a previously-announced benefit concert in Lakefield, Ont., in May. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Feb. 28.
Young, a longtime environmentalist who has advocated for sustainable touring, has partnered with Farm Aid for the tour to offer Homegrown Concessions at the concerts. The meals use sustainable ingredients from local family farms, and are served in compostable containters.
Last year, Young pulled the plug on his tour with Crazy Horse after several of the band members including himself, became ill.
"I just woke up one morning on the bus and I said, 'I can't do this, I gotta stop.' And it was like, I felt sick when I thought of going on-stage," he told fans in a livestream. "My body was telling me, 'You gotta stop.' So I listened to my body."
In January, Young and the Chrome Hearts started gearing up for their return with the release of the rock song "big change," the first new music from the forthcoming album, Talkin' to the Trees.
