Toronto R&B artist Dylan Sinclair has been nominated for Juno Awards two years in a row. Last year, he was nominated for traditional R&B/soul recording of the year for his full-length debut, Proverb. This year, Sinclair returned with two nominations: contemporary R&B recording of the year for his followup, No Longer in the Suburbs, and a victory lap in the traditional R&B/soul recording of the year category for "Last One," his collaboration with fellow Torontonian Savannah Ré. He and Ré won the latter award.

Taking the Junos stage for the first time at this year's Opening Night Awards, Sinclair performed a soulful medley of two songs: "Lifetime" and "Pleasure."
