Buy your tickets for the 2024 Juno Awards in Halifax
The big awards night, Junofest, Juno Songwriters’ Circle and more all go on sale Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. AT
The 2024 Juno Awards arrive in Halifax on March 24, and there will be lots of live music to see in the city leading up to the awards broadcast that Sunday night.
Tickets for various events go on sale starting Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. AT, and you can access everything in one place at ticketmaster.ca/junos. Read on to find out what will be going on sale this week.
2024 Juno Awards: the broadcast
At 9 p.m. AT on Sunday, March 24, the Juno Awards will take place at Halifax's Scotiabank Centre, marking the first time the awards have been in the city since 2006. Nelly Furtado will host, the Beaches and Charlotte Cardin will perform and Maestro Fresh Wes will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
The awards will be broadcast and streamed live across Canada from 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. AT on CBC-TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen, and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos and CBC Music's YouTube page.
Juno Awards After Party
A fundraiser for MusiCounts, the music education charity run by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) and the Junos, the afterparty will kick off at 11:30 p.m. on March 24 at the Grafton Connor Complex.
Junofest 2024
Taking place Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23, at 10 venues in Halifax, Junofest is a live music series where you can check out Canadian acts, including the winners from the current Wavemakers tour making its way around Atlantic Canada. Wristbands often sell out, and single tickets will only go on sale the day of the show (subject to capacity).
Juno Songwriters' Circle
This is a much-anticipated event each year, and in Halifax it will take place on Friday, March 22, at the Light House Arts Centre. The lineup hasn't been announced yet, but it's always a fun and intimate time.
Juno Stories from the Studio
This keynote conversation with a Juno-nominated engineer, producer and special guests will be hosted at Paul O'Regan Hall on Thursday, March 21. Tickets are free, but they must be reserved in advance.
Juno Comedy Show
Also taking place on Friday, March 22, is the Juno Comedy Show, this year at Alderney Landing. The lineup hasn't been announced yet, but names range from up-and-comers to established comedians, and the event will be hosted by Travis Lindsay.
Still to come
CBC Music will again be putting on the Road to the Junos series, which showcases local talent for a week in February 2024. Tickets will go on sale Nov. 24, and the lineup will include Aquakultre, Zamani, Gary Beals and Morgan Toney, with more to be announced.
Tickets for the Honouring Ceremony, a free event to celebrate Indigenous music and art featuring 2024 Juno nominees, as well as Junior Junos, a family-friendly afternoon with performances from 2024 Juno nominees for children's album of the year, will be announced at a later date.
