From some great outfits and glorious hair to gorgeous words and a great thumb up, these are some of our favourite moments from a decade that changed Canadian music forever.

1. Céline Dion wins album of the year

Dion was already a winner that night, but her gratitude at being up onstage again is charmingly real.

2. Leonard Cohen brings poetry and power to the Junos

Only a brilliant, beautiful writer like the late Cohen could quote his own lyrics in his acceptance speech and shake everybody in the room to their core.

3. Alanis Morissette wins big and thanks her best friend

One of the best parts of this video, aside from Morissette getting an award she so richly deserved, is co-presenter Burton Cummings's gleeful thumbs up in the background. He's thrilled for her.

4. The Tragically Hip members accept their Juno from Shania Twain

The bandmates are adorably awkward in their acceptance speech for album of the year, particularly Gord Downie, who begins by saying, "I hope you enjoy your live music."  It's endearing and funny and a little weird, just like the late great singer-songwriter himself.
