For a special performance during the in-memoriam segment, the Sadies will be joined by country singer Corb Lund and Shannon Johnson of the McDades, one of the groups nominated for traditional roots album of the year.
Music promoter Ron Sakamoto, who is this year's recipient of the Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award, and Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew, the recipient of the MusiCounts Inspired Minds Ambassador Award, will also be recognized at the ceremony.
