The audience award goes to 'Cyanide Remix' by Daniel Caesar featuring Koffee
The Prism Prize, which recognizes outstanding artistry in Canadian music videos, has announced that director Peter Huang has won its 2020 grand prize for his video for Jessie Reyez's "Far Away."
Huang receives $20,000 for his work, described by Louis Calabro, vice president of programming and awards at the Canadian Academy and founder of the Prism Prize, as "an unforgiving look at the world at large [and a] representation of reality for many people."
The fan-voted audience award went to directors Keavan Yazdani and Sean Brown for their video for "Cyanide Remix" by Daniel Caesar featuring Koffee.
The winners were selected by a jury of more than 120 Canadian creative arts professionals, and announced during an online event on July 23, hosted by Haviah Mighty, that celebrated all 20 finalist videos.
