December is often overloaded with Christmas music, but what about the Hanukkah tunes?

This year, Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and Grammy-winning producer Greg Kurstin (Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Tegan and Sara) have joined forces for a series called the Hanukkah Sessions. Over the eight days of Hanukkah, Grohl and Kurstin have been releasing covers of songs by famous Jewish musicians. So far, this has included a pair of Canadian stars.

Last Friday, Grohl and Kurstin released a cover of the Toronto rapper Drake's 2015 smash hit, "Hotline Bling," with Grohl on drums and vocals, and Kurstin on keys. In the video, Grohl (who is not Jewish) is also seen dancing with a menorah.

Today's cover honours another Toronto Jewish musician: electropunk artist Peaches. "Drake's not the only Jew from Canada," the video's caption read. "Tonight we feature a Canadian rock G-Dess... who coincidentally grew up around the corner from a Canadian Jewish rock G-D (G-ddy Lee). Straight out the mikvah, here's Peaches!"

For their cover of the 2000 single "F--k the Pain Away," Grohl and Kurstin were joined by Peaches herself who contributes vocals to the performance.

Tune in to the Foo Fighters' Facebook or YouTube to see who else Grohl and Kurstin cover in the remaining four days of Hanukkah.
