Alexisonfire: 5 songs that changed their lives
Dallas Green and George Pettit tell us about the songs that have formed who they are today
It's been 20 years since St. Catharines, Ontario's Alexisonfire released its self-titled debut album, and a lot has happened to the five-piece since — including a breakup in 2011. Now the band is back with the full-length album Otherness, its first offering of new music since 2009's Old Crows / Young Cardinals.
We caught up with singers Dallas Green and George Pettit to ask them about five songs that have changed their lives — and Pettit revealed what band can be played in the tour van with no complaints:
"There's one band that no matter what, when you put it on, everyone's on the same page — and that is Tears for Fears."
Watch the video above to find out why Tears for Fears is the band's preferred driving soundtrack, and four more songs that have been formative to the two members.
