Alanis Morissette announces new album, hear lead single 'Reasons I Drink'
Such Pretty Forks in the Road will be released on May 1, 2020
Next year will mark the 25th anniversary of Alanis Morissette's seminal album Jagged Little Pill, and the Canadian artist is celebrating it in many ways. With the Broadway musical of the same name opening this week in New York City, Morissette has set her sights on 2020 now with a brand new album and an upcoming tour.
Such Pretty Forks in the Road will be Morissette's first new album in eight years, since 2012's Havoc and Bright Lights, and is due out May 1, 2020. Today, she has released its first single, "Reasons I Drink."
To support both her new music and the anniversary of Jagged Little Pill, Morissette will hit the road with Liz Phair and Garbage, two acts who had previously supported Morissette on a 1998 tour. So far, the only Canadian date listed on the North American leg of the tour is July 11 at Toronto's Budweiser Stage.
