Who doesn't love a come-back story?
For the first time ever, Family Feud Canada is hosting a "second chance" tournament inviting back some of the show's most iconic and memorable Canadian families for redemption and a second shot at $10,000!
While we would love to bring EVERYONE back on the show, we only had room for a handful of families. So what did they have that earned them a shot at redemption?
Let's have a look at who is coming back and why they deserve a "second chance"
The Woodman Family from Dunville, NL
The Woodman sisters became unforgettable on Family Feud Canada, cracking up viewers on TV and social media alike with their hilarious antics—and perhaps leaving some wondering if their happy vibes were fueled by some 'special' gummies they admitted to enjoying "occasionally." Their game was so chaotic one could easily assume they had forgotten the rules after a little "enhanced relaxation" the night before!
Since then, Dallas, now a viral sensation and self-proclaimed "geriatric guru of cannabis-infused treats," has been honing her Feud skills, ready to prove to Gerry Dee she's got it down now —no "extra herbal inspiration" required. Meanwhile, her sisters have promised, "No more mistakes, even if Dallas sneaks us those gummies again the night before!"
The sisters had Gerry joking that the family needed an entire "Woodman Week" after their first appearance. Well, they're back to make that happen! Will they nail it? Or will the gummies strike again?
Makulkina Family from Vancouver BC
The Makulkina family is back and bringing a whole new game plan! Last time, they claimed their opposing team was too good, hogging all the answers while they barely got a word in. (Yes, you read that right—they're blaming the other team for being too prepared.) Also, they kind of, sort of, didn't understand the rules either. But this time they have studied the game and are ready to feud!
Bohdan, however, has the ultimate redemption story—he didn't smile once during their first appearance. So, his wife Anastasia and the rest of the family put him through an intense "Smile and Have Fun" BootCamp! After countless practice rounds of forced grins and upbeat energy, Bohdan's ready to shine (and smile) on the big stage.
Octeau Family from Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
The Octeau family's redemption story started when their captain, DangerLou, decided that a Family Feud taping was the perfect venue for a surprise wedding proposal. Naturally, the tear-filled spectacle sent the team into an emotional tailspin, and they spent the rest of the game in a fog of romance and regret. Even Gerry couldn't keep it together, getting misty-eyed himself. With the wedding on the horizon and Captain DangerLou dreaming of a Hollywood-style extravaganza complete with horses, cowboys, smoke machines, and lasers, they need to win big to fund it. Luckily, they've brought in their secret weapon: Mom, Marie, who wasn't on the team last time and hasn't stopped reminding everyone that's the reason why they didn't win.
Marks Family from Pictou, NS
The Marks family is stepping back into the Family Feud ring for Round 2, but this time, they're done playing the "sweet seniors" card. Forget the Maritime charm—now they're rolling in with the attitude of underdogs who've had enough of being denied the big win. They've traded in their polite smiles for boxing gloves and prizefighter outfits, determined to out-punch the competition and finally land that elusive $30k. After three solid wins last time, they've mastered the game, but Fast Money has always slipped through their fingers at the last second. With a few homemade gifts to bribe Gerry, they're back to prove one thing: Maritimers aren't just tough—they're relentless when there's unfinished business in the ring!
Herbert Family from Kitchener, ON
In this 'Second Chance' redemption story, family captain Jay is officially done being the reigning champion of losing! After bombing on a primetime reality show and flopping on Family Feud Canada, they're hoping the third time's the charm. One of the team's biggest hurdles? Jay's dad, Raymond, whose knack for repeating answers that were either already given—or worse, already on the board—contributed to the family's less-than-stellar performance. But this time, Raymond's on a mission to find his own answers! To help, Jay's aunt Madeline, a teacher, has taken Raymond under her wing, treating him like one of her students. She's even set up a rewards system: get an answer right, and you earn a traditional savoury Caribbean treat, a Johnny Cake! Will this be the ultimate comeback or another salty flop?
Bruna Family from Saint-Leonard, QC
Meet the Bruna family—the unforgettable (or perhaps easily forgotten) first-ever losers on Family Feud Canada! They appeared in the very first episode and made history for all the wrong reasons, going home empty-handed. But that's not all—Nikola left his mark by delivering Family Feud's first-ever "lewd" answer, prompting Gerry to shout, "Show me your penis!" And when asked, "Name something Americans cross the border to get in Canada," Nikola's iconic response? "Peaches"—officially the show's first dumb answer. Who could be more deserving of a second chance?
Pauls Family from Hamilton, ON
In their Family Feud Canada debut, the Pauls family skyrocketed to viral fame thanks to an unforgettable Fast Money moment. When asked, "Name a planet larger than the Earth," Captain John confidently answered, "The Sun." Not quite, John! But it didn't stop there—his brother Dan took it up a notch by adding the Moon to the planetary lineup. Their cosmic confusion had Canadians in stitches, and they've been roasted ever since—by family, friends, coworkers, and the entire internet. Even John's daughter joined in, bringing home a children's book to help Dad brush up on his solar system basics.
Now, the Pauls are back for redemption, hoping to reclaim their dignity and maybe even get an apology from Gerry. After all, 10 Canadians surveyed agreed with their answers. This time, the Pauls family is determined to prove that while science might be "really hard," they're not as clueless as they seemed.
Faga Family from Mississauga, ON
The Faga family, a.k.a. the "5 Domenics," are back for the redemption they desperately need—mainly because their entire extended family hasn't stopped reminding them of their humiliating defeat. Last time, this army of Domenics was embarrassingly crushed by the Cunningham family and their mascot, Wiarton Willie—the famous albino groundhog from Bruce County, Ontario, known for predicting an early spring every Groundhog Day. Or, as the Fagas not-so-affectionately dubbed him, a "stuffed rat."
Losing to a freeze-dried rodent? Yeah, it stings. Especially when your family won't let you forget it. After countless family gatherings filled with passive-aggressive digs, they're back for revenge. Can they finally prove themselves as Family Feud Canada's champions and silence the ridicule? Well, except for Domenic #2, who's still tragically bad at the game. You'll have to watch to find out who he is!
Alconcel Family from Scarborough, ON
These Scarborough ride-or-dies return to Family Feud Canada on a mission to redeem themselves after bringing monumental shame to "the ENDS"—Scarborough slang for their beloved stomping grounds. Last time, they let down their whole community, and the sting still lingers. Jeff, aka the "Filipino cowboy," became a local legend after appearing on The Feud, but even that fame couldn't erase the bitter taste of defeat. Now, Jeff is fired up to finally prove to Gerry that he's "real country." Last time, Gerry wasn't buying his cowboy credentials—this time, Jeff is determined to show he's more country than Shania Twain eating a biscuit dipped in gravy at a hoedown. The crew is pumped and ready to redeem themselves and represent Scarborough right—because failure isn't an option when the ENDS are watching!
