Quilter from Timmins recognized by Governor General for her work

<p><span class="ql-cursor"></span>Vanessa Genier founded a non-profit called Quilts for Survivors that honors the lives of those who died. Genier also does this handmade, and has so far more than 4000 of them. She is being awarded meritorious service decoration from Governor General Mary Simon for her work. We reached her over the phone to talk about this achievement.</p>
