A woman from Stratford, P.E.I., has been charged with impaired driving causing death after a cyclist was killed on Route 210 in Kinross last month.
Norma Jean Hunter, 44, is also charged with having an alcohol level over the legal limit causing death, and failing to stop at a fatal accident.
Hunter is accused of driving the car that hit the cyclist June 12. Jake Simmons, a 27-year-old man from Mount Buchanan, died from his injuries.
Hunter's case is due back in court Aug. 24.
