An employee at a second London Real Canadian Superstore has tested positive for COVID-19. According to the company, the Oxford Street East location has completed a "thorough deep-clean" and has reopened.
In an email sent to customers on Thursday morning, the company says the employee has not been at the store at 825 Oxford Street East since April 26.
"Out of an abundance of caution, we're notifying customers who recently transacted at the store," the email said.
The company is reaching out to the local public health authority to investigate the team member's recent shifts and direct contacts.
Any potentially exposed employees have been instructed to stay home and self-isolate.
The store is one of the largest grocery stores in the city with thousands of customers and serves much of northeast London.
