CBC Vancouver launched its official Impact Team in 2019.
Seasoned reporter Belle Puri investigates and reports on stories that impact you and your community – ensuring the people behind the problem are held to account.
Examples of recent stories include:
- Fatal ambulance service delays
- Medical coverage for life-changing drugs
- Problems with accessibility in B.C.
- ICBC settlement delays

About Belle Puri
An award-winning broadcast journalist with 30 years experience, Belle Puri has been with the CBC since 1992. Belle has worked as a reporter, producer and host in radio and television. After four years as a business reporter for the national Newsworld Business News program, Belle worked as the B.C. Legislative Bureau Chief for CBC's Canada Now. Prior to that, she spent three years as Senior Assignment Producer for CBC Broadcast One. Belle doesn't have much free time, but when she has a few moments to herself you can find her working in her garden or baking.
