"You're in my head like a sinus flush."
Bless Narcy and his unique, evocative wordplay. Who else but the Montreal-based, Iraqi-Canadian hip-hop artist would write a song like "Mr. Asthmatic"?
Narcy flexed his versatility throughout his set at the 2019 CBC Music Festival's q stage, pivoting easily from comedic (that aforementioned ode to his inhaler) to reverential ("God is Great") to galvanizing (the particularly powerful peace anthem "Free"), taking the attentive, rain-soaked crowd on an unforgettable journey from laughter to tears.
