The 2019 Scotiabank Giller Prize ceremony will take place on Nov. 18, 2019. Between now and then, the shortlisted authors will be touring Canada for a special series of events called Between the Pages.
The ceremony will be hosted by Jann Arden. It will be broadcast live on CBC television, radio and online on Nov. 18, 2019. If you'd rather watch with your fellow bookworms, Giller Light viewing parties are taking place across the country.
The 2019 shortlist is:
- Immigrant City by David Bezmozgis
- Small Game Hunting at the Local Coward Gun Club by Megan Gail Coles
- The Innocents by Michael Crummey
- Dual Citizens by Alix Ohlin
- Lampedusa by Steven Price
- Reproduction by Ian Williams
