Linwood Barclay's latest thriller, Elevator Pitch, is being turned into a special escape room for a year in Toronto, starting on Oct. 22, 2019.
The novel begins as four people plummet to their death in rogue elevator in a Manhattan office building. The tragedy appears to be a random accident until the same thing happens again, and again.
The escape room, hosted by Escape Manor, will take place in a custom-built elevator car for four people. Barclay will be doing voiceovers and all the clues and puzzles will based on his novel. It should take 20 to 25 minutes to solve.
Barclay is an internationally bestselling author of novels for adults and children. His most recent books include the adult thriller A Noise Downstairs and award-winning middle grade novels Escape and Chase.
