Toronto comic creator Jeff Lemire has received four nominations — best writer, best new series, best continuing series and best single issue/one-shot — for the San Diego Comic-Con's annual Eisner Comic Industry Awards.
The Eisner Awards recognize comics published in the U.S., though creators nominated in their 31 categories come from all over the world.
Comic industry professionals will vote for the eventual winners of the Eisner Awards. The winners will be revealed on July 19.
