Bishop Grandin Boulevard looked like a scene out of 

 Thursday, Winnipeg police say&nbsp;— and they weren't amused.&nbsp;

The drivers of a Porsche and a BMW&nbsp;were caught racing each other near Bishop Grandin and River Road&nbsp;— reaching a speed of&nbsp;204 kilometres an hour, police said Saturday.

The speed limit on Bishop Grandin is 80 km/h.

"Not the BEST way to rep the '204,'" the Winnipeg Police Service tweeted Saturday morning.&nbsp;

The two drivers each face numerous charges,&nbsp;and both cars have been impounded.

Study brings clinical research on growing problem of liver disease to northern Manitoba communities

A partnership project between a First Nations health authority and University of Manitoba researchers is recruiting participants for remote liver clinics in Manitoba communities to determine the incidence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and how fast it’s growing. 

A team of doctors, dieticians, nurses, Indigenous coordinators and members of Four Arrows Regional Health Authority bring the liver clinics to communities to better understand Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.

As they fast for Ramadan, Muslims feed the needy in Winnipeg's downtown

Local Muslims brought vats of freshly made rice, chicken, sauce, and salad to Central Park last night to feed Winnipeg’s hungry during the holy month of Ramadan.
