Kate Harris

Kate Harris is a Canadian nonfiction writer and explorer. Her debut book, Lands of Lost Borders, chronicles her 10,000 km cycling trip on the fabled Silk Road. The book has been longlisted for the 2019 RBC Taylor Prize, a Canadian nonfiction award, and was featured on Kirkus and CBC Books's best of the year lists. Harris's writing has appeared in The Walrus, Canadian Geographic and Arc Poetry Writing.
Harris lives off-grid on the border of B.C. and the Yukon. She grew up in Ontario.
