Sarah Weinman is a journalist and author based in New York City. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post and Vanity Fair among others. Weinman is also a contributing editor at CrimeReads, where she writes a column called "Crime Lady."
Her book The Real Lolita tells the disturbing tale of the life of 11-year-old Sally Horner, who was abducted in 1948 and who's story inspired Vladimir Nabokov's seminal novel Lolita. The Real Lolita is one part crime novel, one part literary investigation and one part social and cultural history.
