Dave Bidini

Dave Bidini is a Canadian author and musician from Toronto. He has written 12 books, is a founding member of the indie band Rheostatics and is the only person to have been nominated for a Gemini, Genie and Juno and have a book on Canada Reads, On a Cold Road, which was defended by Stacey McKenzie in 2012. His third book, Baseballissimo, is being developed for the screen by actor/producer Jay Baruchel. He also appeared on Canada Reads in 2008, defending the eventual winner King Leary by Paul Quarrington.
His 2018 book, the memoir Midnight Light, shares stories from his sojourn to the Northwest Territories to be a beat reporter for a newspaper in Yellowknife.
