Catherine Leroux

Catherine Leroux is an award-winning writer and translator and journalist based in Montreal. She was shortlisted for the 2016 Scotiabank Giller Prize for her novel The Party Wall, which is an English translation of her French-language linked short story collection Le mur mitoyen. The nwork also won the Prix France-Québec and Lazer Lederhendler won the 2016 Governor General's Literary Award for translation for his work on the novel. She was also shortlisted in 2018 for the Governor General's Award for English to French translation for Le saint patron des merveilles, her French translation of Mark Frutkin's novel Fabrizio's Return.
