Rachel Cusk is an award-winning Canadian-born writer and novelist who has written eight novels and three works of nonfiction. She has been nominated for a number literary awards including the Man Booker Prize and the Women's Prize for Fiction. She is also a two-time Scotiabank Giller Prize-nominated author for her novels Outline in 2015 and Transit in 2017, which are part of a trilogy. The third book in the trilogy, Kudos, was published in 2018.The novel follows her protagonist Faye as she visits Europe and wrestles with ideas of personal and political identity.
