Driver dies in single-vehicle crash

Police were rerouting traffic and telling motorists to expect delays
Calgary police are investigating after the driver in a single-vehicle collision was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash on Stoney Trail.
According to police, officers were called northbound Stoney Trail near McKnight Blvd. N.E. at 11:50 a.m. on Monday.
The traffic section was called to investigate.
As of 1:00 p.m., a section of Stoney Trail northbound was still closed. Traffic was being diverted onto McKnight Blvd.
Drivers are able to continue onto northbound Stoney Trail from the McKnight Blvd. exit, but should expect significant delays, according to police.
Police say they aren't providing any more details on the incident.
