Lindsay Mattick

Lindsay Mattick is a Toronto-based author and PR professional born in Winnipeg. Her great-grandfather, Captain Harry Colebourn, was the Canadian soldier and veterinarian whose pet bear cub (named after his hometown) inspired A.A. Milne to develop the Winnie-the-Pooh books.
Mattick is the author of Finding Winnie and co-author (with Josh Greenhut) of Winnie's Great War. The book is currently a finalist for the 2018 Governor General's Literary Award for young people's literature — text.
