Jason Stefanik

A self-described "poet, publisher and propagandist," Jason Stefanik is a second-generation adoptee raised in Manitoba's Interlake and now resides in Winnipeg's North End. He was the recipient of Banff Centre Bliss Carman Poetry Award in 2016 and his poems have appeared in tart, Misunderstandings Magazine, Grain, Nashwaak Review and Arc. His collection Night Became Years explores his mixed heritage, set against the backdrop of a Canadian inner-city. It is currently a finalist for the 2018 Governor General's Literary Award for poetry.
