Carys Cragg is a nonfiction writer who lives in Port Coquitlam, B.C. Her writing has been featured in publications like The Globe & Mail, The Tyee and New York Post. Her first book, Dead Reckoning: How I Came to Meet the Man Who Murdered My Father, was published in 2017. The book tells the story of how, as an adult, she confronted the man convicted of murdering her father when she was 11 years old. The book was a finalist for the Hubert Evans BC Book Prize and is on the shortlist for the 2018 Governor General's Literay Award for nonfiction.
