Jordan Tannahill

Jordan Tannahill is an accomplished playwright, filmmaker, author and theatre director. He won the 2014 Governor General's Award for English-language drama for his collection of three plays called Age of Minority. He is the co-founder of Kensington performance space Videofag and his work often centres around queer and feminist themes, incorporating fantasy, mythological and historical elements.
Tannahill's debut novel Liminal was published in January of 2018. His most recent work, Botticelli in the Fire & Sunday in Sodom is a collection of two plays that re-imagines the stories of Sandro Botticelli and the biblical story of Lot's wife in a modern context.
Botticelli in the Fire & Sunday in Sodom won the 2018 Governor General's Literary Award for drama. Tannahill wrote the poem Bare Witness for the special CBC Books series Borders.
