The CBC Calgary Stampede posse is saddling up for a new adventure this Stampede! Join us at the following community events:
Fourth Street Pancake Showdown(external link)
When: Thursday, July 5, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Where: 4th Street SW between Elbow Drive to 12th Avenue SW
Sample free gourmet pancakes from businesses on 4th Street. Event headquarters are located at 1919 4 Street SW, featuring coffee, juice, tunes and face painting.

The Mustard Seed Stampede BBQ(external link)
When: Friday, July 6, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: The Mustard Seed, 106 11 Avenue SW
Enjoy live music, entertainment and beef on a bun.

Ismaili Muslim Stampede Breakfast
When: Saturday, July 7, 7:45 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Where: The Ismaili Muslim Jamatkhana and Centre – 1128 45 Avenue NE
Check out this year's parade float, enjoy a hearty breakfast, line dancing, a special art exhibition called "Expressions of Diversity" and a mini-midway for the kids.

Vegan Pancake Breakfast(external link)
When: Saturday, July 7, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Where: Bridgeland Riverside Community Association, 917 Centre Ave NE
Enjoy vegan pancakes and live music, hosted by CalgaryVegan.

Stampede on 17th(external link)
When: Saturday, July 7, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where: Tomkins Park, 17 Avenue SW between 7 & 8 Street SW
There is a full day of Stampede fun planned. CBC Calgary will stop by in the morning to take in the pancake breakfast, live music, dance performances, games and the mechanical bull.

AGAHAN Filipino Style Stampede Breakfast(external link)

Where: Pacific Hut Parking Lot, 3223 – 17 Avenue SE
As a preview to the Fiesta Filipino that takes place in September, the AGAHAN Filipino Stampede Breakfast celebrates culture with traditional food as well and dance and singing performances.

Where: Riverbend Community Centre, 19 Rivervalley Dr. SE
Live music, pony rides, wagon rides, bouncy castles, face painting, fire truck, local vendors and much more!

Puppy Pancake Fundraiser Brunch(external link)
When: Sunday, July 8, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Where: Bon A-Pet-Treat! Pet Bakery, 5111 Bowness Rd. NW
Brunch and fun activities for our four-legged friends. Free pancake brunch, caricatures, photo booth and a doggie pool. The folks at Misty Creek Animal Rescue will also be hosting an Adopt-a-thon.

Calgary MFRC Stampede Breakfast(external link)

Open to all current and retired Canadian Armed Forces community members and their families.

Stampede Grounds
When: Wednesday, July 11, 6 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Where: CBC broadcast booth on the Stampede Grounds
The Calgary Eyeopener and The Homestretch will be broadcasting live from the Stampede Grounds on Kids Day. Come watch live radio get made, meet Ceebee and walk away with some cool CBC Calgary swag!

Best of the East Stampede Breakfast(external link)
When: Thursday, July 12, 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Where: 17 Avenue SE between 31 Street and 33 Street SE
You won't find food like this at any other Stampede Breakfast. Representing cuisine from around the world, Calgary restaurants serve up breakfast finger foods from Indonesia, Ethiopia, the Middle East, Thailand and the Caribbean. And of course, the obligatory Stampede pancakes.

Aboriginal Futures Stampede BBQ(external link)
When: Thursday, July 12, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: 6011 1A St. SW
Free bannock for the first 600 people, meet the Princess & Stampede Royalty, take in live entertainment with Armond Duck Chief and shop local artisans.
