Playboy founder Hugh Hefner died on Wednesday at age 91. He opened the only Playboy Club in Canada in 1967 in Montreal, right before Expo '67.

Here, CBC reporter Jean Templeton paid the club a visit in 1968.

After nine years, the club closed its doors in 1976.
