Thomas King, Cecil Castellucci win the 2015 Sunburst Award

Thomas King has won the 2015 Sunburst Award in the Adult Fiction category for his book The Back of the Turtle.
King's book is about a scientist named Gabriel Quinn who accidentally destroys the reserve he grew up on. Quinn then embarks on a magical quest of redemption.
Cecil Castellucci took home the 2015 Sunburst Award in the Young Adult Fiction category for Tin Star, a science fiction novel following an orphaned, revenge-seeking teenager named Tula.
The Sunburst Award for Excellence in Canadian Literature of the Fantastic comes with a $1,000 prize.
