Motorcyclist run over and killed in northwest Calgary

Police said a driver collided with the bike and then ran over the man
One man is dead after he was knocked off his motorcycle and then run over in northwest Calgary.
The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. on Saturday night near the intersection of 14th Street and 24th Avenue N.W.
Police said the driver of the vehicle that collided with the motorcycle then ran over the man.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital, but later died.
Alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash, according to police, but unspecified charges are pending against the driver of the offending vehicle.
