Announcement follows resignation of Trent Wotherspoon last week
Nicole Sarauer is the new interim leader of the Saskatchewan NDP.
The MLA for Regina Douglas Park announced she had taken over the role in a news release Tuesday evening.
Her election follows the resignation of Trent Wotherspoon last week.
"As interim leader, I am committed and looking forward to working with all of you and I hope you are ready to join me," said Sarauer.
