Calgarians have been enjoying a bit of a warm spell this November, but that came to an end Tuesday as showers turned into flurries.
There is also fog in the forecast for Tuesday night into the morning commute, with a 30 per cent chance of flurries Wednesday.
Temperatures are supposed to improve by the weekend, with 8 C in the forecast for Sunday — good news for football fans heading to McMahon Stadium for the western final.
Light snow is also in the forecast for the mountains west of Calgary.
"Light snow ending this evening then partly cloudy with 30 per cent chance of flurries. Low minus 4.," said Environment Canada on its website Tuesday.
It's been a pretty mild season so far, but there has been a lot of snow at higher elevations in the Rockies — leading Sunshine Village to have its earliest start in over 30 years.
But warm weather has delayed the opening of other ski hills, like Nakiska which has pushed its date back.
