Sea-Doo accident on Okanagan Lake sends woman to hospital

Speed and alcohol may have been factors according to RCMP

A woman was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries Friday night, according to RCMP in Kelowna, after a Sea-Doo accident on Okanagan Lake.
The woman, from Quebec and in her 20s, was thrown from her Sea-Doo after colliding with a breakwall near the area of Blind Angler in Peachland.
She was wearing a life jacket and was rescued by another boat. She was then rushed to hospital in critical condition, police said in a written release.
According to the RCMP speed and alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
