Windsor's public school board will fly the rainbow pride flag at its head office and at all secondary schools during the month of June to help celebrate Pride Month.
The Greater Essex County District School Board made the decision last night, according to spokesman Scott Scantlebury.
David Lenz, president of Windsor-Essex Pride Fest, says the board set a good example by showing support for the LGBT community.
A celebration event is being planned for the flag raising in June.
