The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation will be making it easier for colleagues to attend a former Uxbridge, Ont., man's funeral by chartering a flight to Ontario.

Adam Wood, 35, had recently begun his teaching career in the northern village of La Loche, Sask. Last Friday, he and a teacher's aide were gunned down at the La Loche Community School. Seven other people were injured at the school and two brothers were killed at a separate residence.

A representative for the STF said the group is trying its best to provide necessary support during this grievous time.
