A trial in Red Deer is hearing from more teenagers who say they were sexually assaulted by another teen while attending camps or outings with Scouts Canada and Cadets Canada.
The alleged assaults occurred between 2007 and 2015.
The accused — who was 17 at the time of his arrest and cannot be named under law — faces nine counts including sexual assault and sexual assault with a weapon.
One teen girl testified the accused made unwanted sexual advances four different times between 2013 and early 2014. She said they dated for one day and the pair had consensually kissed, but she stopped it going further.
During cross-examination, defense argued that those advances did not occur and her testimony was inconsistent with the original statement she gave to police.
The five alleged victims include boys and girls.
Three RCMP officers are expected to testify over the multi-day trial which is expected to continue into next Monday and Wednesday at Red Deer youth court.
