Kevin Lamoureux, Liberal
The incumbent for the riding, Lamoureux, 52, was born in Winnipeg and has been married to his high school sweetheart for more than 30 years.
The couple has two children and two grandchildren.
Lamoureux has been a parliamentarian since 1988 and previously was in the Canadian Forces for three years.
You can find him driving his 1999 Ford Mustang, listening to All I Have To Do Is Dream by the Everly Brothers or I Got You Babe by Sonny and Cher.
Lamoureux's favourite Manitoba performer is Paul Ong, and he prefers the Winnipeg Jets to the Bombers because of the excitement and sense of community the team brought back to Winnipeg.
The last place Lamoureux travelled to was Ottawa as a member of Parliament.
John Redekopp, Green Party
The 31-year-old was born in Gander, N.L., and lived in Portage la Prairie and Thunder Bay before settling in Winnipeg permanently.
Redekopp works full time at Siloam Mission and is single with no children. He prefers to bus or walk but can sometimes be seen driving his Volkswagen Jetta, listening to the radio.
Redekopp is a fan of football but the Winnipeg team he cheers for more often is the Winnipeg Jets.
The last time Redekopp was out of town was for a vacation in Florida, but he will be travelling again soon to join the Elizabeth May campaign in Victoria, B.C., on election night.
Levy Abad, NDP
Abad, 48, was born in Manila, Phillippines, and is married with two kids.
When he isn't campaigning, Abad is the executive assistant to MLA Flor Marcelino.
A singer and songwriter, Abad enjoys folk music, and his favourite Canadian performer is Gordon Lightfoot. Abad is a Winnipeg Jets fan, so much so he wrote about them in one of his songs, Never Give Up.
He drives a 1995 Toyota Camry and the last time Abad travelled outside of Winnipeg was to Toronto.
