Four-door, five-passenger luxury vehicles will augment existing fleet of tiny Smart cars
Car2Go has confirmed it is adding five-passenger Mercedes B-Class vehicles to its existing fleet of two-passenger Smart cars in Calgary.
As part of a pilot program, 25 of the four-door vehicles will join the 550 two-door Smart cars already on Calgary streets, according to Jon Wycoco, general manager of Car2go Calgary.
The larger, luxury vehicles will be available for the same price of 41 cents per minute as the existing Smart cars for the duration of the pilot project, according to the company.
Similar pilot programs are being launched in Vancouver and Toronto.
