Maslany nominated for outstanding lead actress in a drama series
After consecutive Emmy snubs, Tatiana Maslany didn't hear her name called for television's top acting prize Sunday night, as she lost to fellow actress Viola Davis at the 67th Emmy Awards.
The Regina-born actress was nominated for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.

Maslany plays several characters in the TV show Orphan Black, which has completed three seasons.
Along with Davis (How to Get Away with Murder), Maslany was up against some major competition at the night's award show. She was nominated alongside Taraji P. Henson (Empire), Claire Danes (Homeland), Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) and Robin Wright (House of Cards).
Julianna Margulies won for her role in The Good Wife last year.
With this year's win, Davis is the first black woman to win an Emmy award for lead actress in a drama series. She's a two-time Tony winner and a two-time Oscar nominee, known for roles in the films The Help and Doubt.
