The hashtag #CPCJesus has been trending on Twitter in Canada after Vancouver Conservative MP Wai Young made remarks comparing the political party to Jesus.

Tory MP says CSIS knew bomb was aboard Air India flight, but kept silent

"Jesus served. He saved, but he acted as well," Young told Harvest City Church saying the Conservative Party had acted "in the same vein" by passing the new anti-terror legislation,Bill C-51.
