Woman, 28, was sexually assaulted in alley downtown on Saturday
A 28-year-old man has been charged with aggravated sexual assault following an attack on a woman in downtown Regina early Saturday morning.
The woman, 28, told police she was accosted by a man in an alley on the 2000 block of Cornwall St. who choked her into unconsciousness and then sexually assaulted her.
She was able to describe her attacker.
On Monday night, while investigating an unrelated incident, police arrested a man for being intoxicated in a public place.
