Alberta Liberals pick candidates for byelection
The Alberta Liberals have chosen Robert Prcic to run against the premier in the upcoming byelection in Calgary-Foothills.
Robert Prcic is a businessman and basketball coach. He ran in the 2012 election in the riding of Calgary-Northwest.
Kathy Macdonald is the Wildrose candidate in Calgary-Foothills, while Jennifer Burgess is running for the NDP.
The Liberals have also chosen lawyer David Khan to run in the Calgary-West byelection. Susan Wright is the Liberal candidate in Calgary-Elbow.
Voters will go to the polls in four byelections — Calgary-Foothills, Calgary-West, Calgary-Elbow and Edmonton-Whitemud — on Oct. 27.
