Saskatchewan has the worst record for impaired driving in any province, according to new information compiled by Statistics Canada.
The agency noted, in a release Thursday, that the rate of drunk driving is 683 incidents per 100,000 people in the province.
That is more than double the national rate.
Among the provinces, Saskatchewan has the worst rate. The only parts of the country with worse numbers were in the northern territories(external link).
